HTML Tutorial -1 (Installing Visual Studio Code and live server)

Hello guys,

Welcome back friends. I am glad to tell you that From today we are going to start a web development series. This series will be for all those people who want to learn web development. In this course we will cover html,css,javascript,Node js,Express and MongoDB. So if you want to become a successful and money making web developer then this course is for you.


This post is for only installations which are required for web development. In this post I will install all the softwares which is needed for web development so let’s begin:

Installing Visual Studio Code 

To install vs code you have to simply do some steps:

1. go to https://code.visualstudio.com


2. Download it for your os.

3. Install it for your os. 

4. check all the checkboxes.

5. finish it now.

Now from your pc open any folder and right click inside it now if you have checked all the checkboxes then you can see the option open with code simply click on it. Now you will see that the vs code is opened in that folder. Now go to the extensions and search for live server. Now download the first extension which is in the results. Now, wait for it to completely download and install. After installation you have to create a simple file called index.html now write click inside this file and click open with the live server. Now you will see a message saying the server has started on port 5500 now from your browser go to this url - “http://localhost:5500” you will see the file is running on this url for more information watch this video:-
